Powerflushing is a unique service that thoroughly removes heating system problems caused by excess black sludge and limescale.

Non-corrosive chemicals are used along with the clean water to forcibly clean and restore systems which have circulation and boiler noise problems, caused by common corrosion deposits.

The powerflushing pump is simply connected to the heating system, either across the standard ciculator pump couplings, to the tails ofone radiator or wherever most practical and accessible.

The cleansing operation works by pumping water through the system at a much higher rate than usual, which loosens the harmful corrosion deposits and flushes them from the heating system. Specialist cleansing chemicals make the process more effective coupled with an instantaneous flow reversal device to optimise the pick up of the debris within the radiators.

Once the system has been fully flushed and the unwanted debris has been removed from the system, reinstatement of the system to normal operation takes only a few minutes.

Throughout the entire process, no radiators have to be removed from their fixings or from the system itself.

System flushing will not remedy design or mechanical faults, which should be rectified, but in many cases it will cure the problems caused by these.
